I can turn off my Outback Inverter using the AUX port of my classic and based on the set SOC from Wbjr my Outback would turn off to save itself and my batteries.
I have been going through the Rosie manual but do not see anything to say that can be done.
Only Low battery disconnect.

Are AUX 1 and 2 on the Rosie and Barcelona the same as the Classics?

The Hawkes Bay has a lower voltage output on the Aux than the Classic. Probably the same for Barcelona . There is enough voltage and current on Classic Aux to directly operator the coil on a dc contactor I use. But the Hawkes Bay can't do that .
Also I dont' believe the Aux on HB are tied up by Whizbang and as far as I know both Aux are supposed to be able to do PWM though not sure if that is working now or not.

Thanks.
I noticed some difference looking at the manual.
I reckon the Barcelona would need its own Wbjr.

So based on this I am guessing the Barcelona or HB AUX 1 cannot do the dry contact as the Classic does engage or disengage the inverter pin switch.

This is used with SOC Hi OR SOC low(with the help of the WBJR ) to turn off my Outback output based on SOC rather than voltage.

Seems like it would be easy enough to  just use a small relay to do that switching .

Thanks.Yes would be doing that.
Now to locate a good quality one that would work

from the manual
The Hawke's Bay offers three Auxiliary terminals to be used as a nominal DC trigger voltage
source to activate a relay that in turn connects DC accessories (battery vent fan, diversion
loads, lights) to the battery bank or an AC relay to break an inverter's AC output or some other
AC source wire. The AUX circuit outputs 10.5VDC at a maximum of 200mA, thus an external
relay is required between the accessory and a power source. The AUX circuit will trigger this
relay on/off.

Any link recommendations on a good quality AC relay of such?

I couldn't give you any right now since I haven't had to get any yet - been relying on the Classic in past which had enough ooompf to do the job. I think I would look on Digikey and they have the filters so you could enter the exact  specs and then narrow it down. Anything they carry would be quality. I think most SSR relays should work with it in addition to mechanical types.
But I have used Crydom SSR which are good quality , but also have used some cheap ebay ones too which worked okay.

I am pretty sure the latest Rosie beta firmware has Low Battery Cuttoff using SOC%, Put the WBjr on the MPPT or the Rosie and setup LBCO with the percentages you want and walla. I will ask Jim Parish to chime in as he has been testing this.

mahendra

Great to know I have to do a firmware update and was questioning why it doesn't.
