Kid dusk till dawn feature acting up

So a buddy of mine had a change in battery after about 5 years on a kid that seems to be acting up.

His kid is being utilized to power some dc lights for the pass 5 years or so. Seamlessly switching on those garden and patio light at dusk and switches them off at dawn on its load output.

After the battery swap Kids keeps switching on those light about a half hour later everyday which is actually not dusk but far later at this point.


We tried factory restore ,changing setting but still.

Only change noticed is that it would function normal (turn on light at dusk and off at dawn)on the fist day after the factory restore,after that it would begin its 1/2 hr later light turn on.

Did we miss something?
