Hi,

I am currently setting up a wind turbine (Futureenergy Airforce 1, 1kw@12.5m/s/48V) with 24V battery in Germany on a sailing ship (http://facebook.com/hf329) . I already have dump load and PWM capable FET-Relay and ordered a classic 150. I looked at all clipper papers and it seems, that using my mosfet relay with aux1=clipper or aux=pv high might be a good try.

can you give more information about this only little documented aux-clipper option? As far as I understand it is a bit more keeping the turbine around the same rpm at load and unloaded when battery is full. how does it exactly works?

is this option save in heavy storm ? or do i still need a diffrent overvoltage surge?

thanks for more info.

greetings,
