OK, guys, I am not the sharpest tack in the box but this thread went from "beta 0.3.12" to "beta 0.3.13" and I missed the curve and ended up out here in the brush wondering what I missed?

Just to be clear, my comments are WRT the beta 0.3.12 version.

Hi,

Thanks to RestHome to speak of Application unistallation.

After uninstalling the AIR Application (not so evident), You have to clear the User's datas.
The problem is that when you uninstall an AIR application it doesn't get rid of the encrypted local store data in C:\Documents and Settings\USER_login\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS.

You have to find your application based on her ID et delete the corresponding directory.

After doing that, the 0.3.13 LocalApp connects to the Classic on the first shot !!

BUT, the color problem in the Selector Calendar remains identical.

Colors are default colors, because i don't know where to change these and go back to precedent green design that I preferred.

I your list, I can't find :

- the regional settings
- The graph that open on the current day, not on the Classic Life first Day.

Another thing, It seems that tweaks mode in the LocalApp Tech Menu didn't reflect the Classic settings : In the statusPanel, Insomnia is selected and on the Classic, it's at Off.

Another another thing, on Windows XP in the Start Menu, there are two entries for Midnite Solar, One for the local Satus Panel, the second for Midnite-Update. The difference is the first has a space bettween Midnite and solar.

Question : Where are the LocalApp logs datas stored on a Windows PC ??

Yann

@Tom, the thread has been renamed because in the first post, the version to download was 0.3.13, so there was a discordance beetween the thread title and the file to download.

Yes, it should be fine to know the differences beetween each release.

Are you using the latest Classic code? 12-11-12?

I have a Beta version of the Local App version 0.3.13 it only works with the newer Classic code released on 12-11-12.

The known bugs as of now:
Float time does not agree with the Classic
IP addressing is non functional

Let me know if anyone sees any odd behavior. The Logging is still a little funky but that is in the Classic and boB is working towards a resolution on that as well.

Ryan - There is something wrong with this link as it downloads a zip file not an Air file and unzipping the file does not result in any air file.

Ok, back on track with 0.3.13.

Only thing I see that is "odd" is in "Live"

I only seem to have data from Oct 2012. My "offline" data has current dates so it has the proper date set.

I can't seem to select any other date range.? I tried the calendar pop up and the right arrow icon at the bottom right of the graph it draws. "Daily" I can arrow over to Nov. 4 2012. "Weekly" I can get to Nov. 24.

Not sure how "reports" is supposed to work? I do see a graph for those dates.

It was this way in all previous versions, too. Using Ubuntu 11.10 on my laptop.

Just FYI

Resthome;

I just grabbed it an hour or so ago and got an .air file that ran and installed fine? Ubuntu 11.10 and Firefox current.

Thanks Tom, not sure why IE is downloading a zip file. Have to try another Browser

Resthome;

Maybe you can just rename the file with .air extension?

Windows is kind of dumb that way, determines file type by the .xxx extension or used to?

Good luck with it.

I see after I hit "post" you had grabbed it with Chrome.

Click on the Config tab and right beside the Power Meter Scale you should see a little square box. Click on it to change the color.

For 0.3.13 it kept my selected color of green so I did not have to change it this time.

Well Done, RestHome,

Now I can see the months on the Date Selector !!

For the others, I included a screen capture, showing the little square to click on, to show the colors selector.

For Ryan, PLEASE, just add a "Colors" label on the left of this square

Point taken on the colors. As far as the extension IE changes the extension from .AIR to .ZIP so just rename it and change the extension back to .air I was worried about the LoMax and stuff that is why I asked about the classic code.

After Ryan's question about the latest firmware version, I'm afraid of what I saw !

My setup is actually based on the MidNiteSolarSetup_12-11-2012_v3.60.exe file downloaded on 12/23/2012.

This file actually installs a 12/1/2012 CLASSIC firmware and a 12/11/2012 MNGP firmware.

Hoping that's just a naming error and that there was no evolutions beetween the BETA firmware and the Production firmware !
