Charge Current Compensation

I remember a while back there was talk about having 'End Amps' current compensated for load current amps so that an accurate end amps could be attained. I'm wondering if this update has been completed?
Also wondering if there is anything in the works for load amps to be compensated for under 'current limit' amps.
Thanks

If you have Midnite's WhizBangJr (monitors battery current) you can do end amps termination of absorb.

What I am wondering is it possible, yet, to compensate for load current being drawn from the batteries to arrive at an accurate end amps?

Also wondering if this will ever be applied to the controller charge current limit. In other words, if I set my charge current limit at 40A and there is a 20A load will the classic be able to identify load currents and compensate to allow 60A to loads and batteries to arrive at an accurate charge current of 40A?
Thanks

Yes.  That already works.  You need a whizbangJr and a recent firmware update for the classic.

I asked that question in another thread.  The answer was: coming in a firmware update soon.

Yes, the Whizbang Junior shunt monitor makes this possible.

It connects up to your 500 amp/50 mV shunt that is connected to your battery.
This sees the current going into and out of the battery which takes care of any
load current from the battery that the Classic would not normally know about.

Then, in the Ending-Amps (Now called ADVANCED)  menu, you can choose between
the Classic's internal current measurement (the only measurement until now) or
the WhizBang Junior or "SHUNT" as it is called on that screen.  Then, the ending
amps will be taken from the WB Jr. shunt rather than the internal Classic's current
measurement.

I'm pretty sure this is what you want.

let's see if this link works...

boB, I do believe that is it! That's awesome. You guys are the only ones that want to put in the extra effort to make everything fully functional and we appreciate that.
Thanks, EW Zuber
