Hi, I am just double checking the suitability of this breaker in an application.

- Solar array max Voc ~ 100 volts

- Solar array current Imax ~ 30 amps

- Feeding a Victron solar charge controller

- Off grid cabin

The goal is a simple double pole breaker to cut off both poles of the solar array.

Is there any reason why this would not be used ?

Thank you,

Harry

Yes, you can do that.

Double pole breakers or solar gfi are used all the time on un-grounded PV systems.

I think that MidNite possibly has some dual-ganged or individual DC breakers you can use .

If the breaker(s) is polarized, make sure to connect the positive breaker post to the plus PV side and reverse for the negative PV end.
