Hi Midnite,

I have a classic 150v installed and client and myself are happy. They had decided to upgrade to the classic from a C60 after I was exalting the attributes of the classic. Some of those attributes are not available yet could anyone at midnite tell me if it is going to happen anytime soon (data logging, online status meter mainly). As it stands I can only access total kwh generated and nothing else. I have another two classics 150 on their way to me and I am looking at ordering two more in the coming weeks. It is now the default mppt controller for my installations. I offer my clients free 1 year service on all of the equipment that I install and I would love to be able to monitor and/or log certain parameters on my installation remotely. So... are we there yet? if not when.

Cheers...

Some of these features are coming together behind the scenes. Hydro is done and boB is working on parallel communications now. Andrew has My MidNite running and is putting the finishing touches on that. So online monitoring is real close. Feel free to email Andrew at midnitesolar.com and ask to be added to the beta testing list for www.mymidnite.com I will let boB chime in on the when on the logging on the Classic itself but hopefully it will be soon I get asked for that almost daily.

1/2,

I have taken your advice and I have two of my installed classic on the beta test site. Andy has been sparkling in his swift responses and support.My only issue is that I can't seem to get back on monitoring section of the site. I keep getting this message:

"Device 587793898 has not logged in since
Sun Jun 19 08:34:31 GMT-0500 2011. Please check your network configuration."

I  can confirmed that I was logged in when I recieved this message.

Cheers...

1/2 is driving us back to the MSP airport from MREF in Wisconsin...

He says that you have to log out and keep logging out until it asks you for your login and password.

This is still "beta" and has a few undesirable "features" (ok, bugs), that will be ironed out shortly.

boB,

I did that on every occasion since Andy told me to do that yesterday... to make sure I am logged out. When I did that and logged back in using username and password I still go the message. It did not give me the usual amber circle saying connecting then negotiating then status. However when I turned off the input an output breaker in an attempt to update the firmware and then tried logging on again it went through that sequence (connecting...negotiating. It is still negotiating as I type. So maybe I will get on this time and maybe that is what needs to be done to reset modem or classic... I am guessing here.

Having to reset the Classic is very rare at this point.   See if that does it though.

What is the Ethernet of the Classic plugged in to ?  Is it going through a wi-fi bridge or
a router ?

Also, you can reload the application in case it has been updated it or if it hasn't updated
automatically, in Firefox, by hitting Alt-Shift-R  I believe.

Please keep us posted on your progress or lack thereof.   This will be ironed out soon.

boB,

It has been negotiating for a while, went away and meet this message when I came back:

HttpFault(mx.messaging.messages::ErrorMessage)#0
  body = ""
  clientId = "DirectHTTPChannel0"
  correlationId = "272D41D2-F4B6-E6BA-38CB-AE35E102917F"
  destination = ""
  extendedData = (null)
  faultCode = "Server.Error.Request"
  faultDetail = "Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. URL: https://www.mymidnite.com/drupal-7.0/user_state.php"
  faultString = "HTTP request error"
  headers = (Object)#1
    DSStatusCode = 502
  messageId = "08ECB6D1-F247-FD4A-1A06-AE36592F0B0C"
  rootCause = (flash.events::IOErrorEvent)#2
    bubbles = false
    cancelable = false
    currentTarget = (flash.net::URLLoader)#3

    eventPhase = 2
    target = (flash.net::URLLoader)#3
    text = "Error #2032"
    type = "ioError"
  timestamp = 0
  timeToLive = 0

looks like code? I am not sure. The classic is connected directly to my internet router. I have two cables coming into office direct from router, one to this computer that is online that I am typing on and the other goes to the classic. I am using Chrome. SHould I change to firefox?

boB,

It finally went on just now. I am almost afraid to close it now.
