Hello,
I seek good information about load parameters of my battery bank with five brand controllers CLASSIC 150 MIDNITESOLAR. my battery bank consists of 12 tubular lead batteries from Exide classic brand, capacity is 3350 AH in 24-volt system. Thank you for your assistance to enable me to have good absorption voltage, the equalization voltage and voltage flotting.

Best regards.

I was trying to look up your batteries on the Exide GNB site . I think I found them but did not find any charging documents.
Your best bet is to contact the battery manufacturer and ask them . If you have a Whizbang and shunt installed you would want to ask them for ending amps recommendation too. If you don't have a Whizbang and shunt I recommend  you get one.

It also takes some time observing your system to fine tune these setpoints to best match your system.  Being registered on the MyMidnite page really helps with that too.

Looks like this Question was double-posted ...  Had replied to the one that was in the MidNite Battery Box area ...

The following comment was posted there:

Hello bafaro,

If you do not already own the batteries and Classics,  would suggest that you consider a 48 V system.

Those batteries might possibly 2 V ones,  BUT,  more likely,  you are considering parallel strings,  which for batteries is a BAD idea.

Even if you already have a 24 V inverter,  going to 48 V,  at the very least seems to be about your only real choice, IMO.

Please tell us more about your system design,  loads,  and when the loads need power,  and what parts of the system that you already have.

Thanks,   Vic

Thank you to Larry and Vic,
I actually have a Wizbang and a shunt. I could send the coordinates of the classic need to check in the current charge parameters. to meet Vic, I thought my change from 24 to 48 volts system, I even buy it for two 48v converters, but I was faced with the battery problem, since it would take me twelve other equivalent batteries. they are indeed 2 volts batteries. not only are batteries that are expensive and more capacity would exceed my needs.
Thanks,
Bafaro

Hi bafaro,

Thanks for the information.   Yes,  those are large and am sure expensive batteries.   It IS very good that you do not have any parallel strings of batteries.

If you were starting over,  you might better off with a 48 V system,  and batteries with approximately half of the capacity per battery.

Agree with Larry,  follow the manufacturer's recommendations for charge parameters.   If the batteries were supplied by a dealer,  you might also ask them for charge parameters,  if the manufacturer does not.

Good Luck with that LARGE system.    Vic

Vic thank you,
the seller with whom I bought the battery is not a professional in the field, it is unfortunately the case here frequently. I will therefore continue my search.
