This thread died almost 2 years ago. Is the B-17 never to see the light of day?

The B17 is being worked on again, now.  It had to take a back seat for a while to help get Rosie and the other new products up and running in manufacturing.

B17 is FAR from dead.

Due to boB's passing, the B17 is on hold. Without boB or another dedicated engineer, it will not happen. So much time and money has been spent on this project. It is the coolest inverter in the world, but not ready for production. We don't have the resources to continue the B17 right now. It would require a few million dollars to bring it to completion. I'm keeping some parts in hopes we get to revisit it again in the future. Any rich guys out there interested?
Thanks to all,

My condolences to boB's family and the team at MNS.  I only know them through forum posts but they seemed like a joyful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic engineer.  May their memory be for a blessing.

As for the B17, from what I've seen it is a sexy piece of kit indeed.  It would be much cleaner to wire and more maintainable than the Rosielona stack I'm trying to convince the power co to let us interconnect.   Do you have a pitch deck for prospective angel investors?  If not, maybe a Kickstarter?
