I noticed today that the SOC was reading 95% but the remaining amps were 710 out of 8oo amps and charging.  How do I interpret that?  It should be 760 right?

Hi Bill,

Remaining Ah is also affected by battery temperature,   and the compensation factor used when the battery temperature is different than the Reference temperature (this is the temperature where the battery manufacturer specs Capacity and charge voltates,  etc).   The Reference temperature is usually either 77,  or 80 degrees F.

SO,  if your batteries are cool,   then,   the Remaining C  will be reduced.

ok my battereies are tin the basements and it stays a constant 66-68 F.  is there any way to change the midnite to F rather than C?

IIRC,   this has been asked,   before,   and the answer was,   "no".  You will learn the conversion,  in time,   particularly,   if the battery temperature is fairly constant.

As you probably know,   because FLA batteries is not too efficient (in Absorb & EQ),   you will probably see your battery temperature rise,   and remain warm-ish for some time after full charges,   and EQs.

Some use a Decoder Ring or a chart to translate twix F & C.   You can do this in your head,   just knowing several reference points.

With Grahams Android Classic Monitoring App you can have it display F .
