Dear Midnite Management

I fully realize that you have been more than busy on new product introductions.  Debugging, enhancing and obtaining approvals is time consuming. However I would ask for your consideration of the following.

I believe that I have made a substantial argument in favor of the advantages of "Float current controlled Absorb time" and "Parallel bank monitoring".  I have done my best in supplying supporting information from "East Penn Batteries" and IEEE-450.

Thus far the only negative feedback I have received is the concern that "everyone is going LiFePO4". The multiple posts I have made on lead acid batteries have received thousands of views. I would consider it a mistake to conclude that there is no interest or future in lead acid chemistries.

MidNite's newest products still support lead acid chemistries. In some environments, only lead acid will be appropriate. If MidNite is to continue to support lead acid chemistries, why not do it the best way practical?

I have gone about as far as I can go on this subject. I would love to put a MPU in a box with a bow but I do not have the resources or skill-set or time left to do so. As a stage 4 cancer patient, i will only be here for likely 1 or 2 years.

I would continue to make minor suggestion concerning these issues but I do not wish to "write memos to a wastebasket".

I guess I am looking for either a word of encouragement or "never mind".
Thanks for your time and consideration.

Dear BoB,

I'm just curious. Did you like which part?
1) My appreciation of how busy you peeps are.
2) The research time and effort I put into this proposal.
3) That I committed to stop filling up your waste basket.

Just asking.  ;D

Hi Barry.  Basically I was just showing that I read your post.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and research in the "Float wars" (just made that up) but like you say, we are way too busy to work on new algorithms right now.  BUT also, your thoughts and ideas will remain on this forum for all to see.

I have my own ideas along these lines but that is only for LiFePo4  types of batteries.

I hear you saying probably not in my lifetime.

Until either a member or a company is willing to invest in "proof of concept", any further discussion on my part would only be speculative.

Well, I am getting old and not in the best of health at the moment, Barry.  Proof of concept also requires work.

There are many different things I have wanted to do proof of concept of but I don't think many if any of those will even happen.
