Gang,

I wish I would have taken a few photos of this, but never got around to it.

I came into the garage where Roise lives and noticed the MNGP2 said something to the order of "no inverter found." At the time, I was trying to figure out what was going on, so didn't write down what was on the screen.

Shut Rosie off, she was making power, and on restart the MNGP2 seemed to be working fine. When I went to look at errors and temperatures, the MNGP2 locked up again.

Restarted Rosie a second time and so far everything is working.

I know without the actual error messages, this is basically a crap shoot.

Has anyone ever had this happen before?

System one: 7kWp w/ Trina 250 W panels @90 Vdc. Classic 150 to 16-6 V U.S batteries. Trace 5548 sine wave inverter.
System two: 6kWp grid tie with solaredge inverter.
System three: Midnite Brat, two 120 W Astropower modules, 100 Ah battery. Runs the LED streetlight in the back yard.

Was there an error code showing ?    I guess that would have been in the event log.

Not sure if you looked at that log or not ?

This is what I got in the error screen

That kind of says to me that the MNGP2 crashed. I can send that off and see if it is meaningful.

No guarantees but might hold a clue ?

I was thinking the same thing, 'cause it made no sense to me.
It was rather hot in the garage, about 100ºF, but that shouldn't be an issue.

Run it by the folks that speak in 1s and 0s and see what they think

Things to check:

Possible bad CANBUS cable. Swap it out
Missing or bad blue terminator (needs two per buss on each end)
Bad CANBUS jack(s) Swap jacks in Rosie TERN PLUG <> CABLE

I'll take a look... This MNgp2 has been sitting there doing it's thing for the past two years, so i doubt a bad canbus or missing terminator. I'll check to be sure.

Did any of the errors make sense to you?

Mike, I sent your error screen capture to the engineer that did the MNGP2.  Hopefully he can make sense of those values.

Thank you for capturing that screen !
