Mn15 ups mode?

Couple of items: I have a mn15 I just provisioned, my solar panels are about a month on back order and there are wild fires up the road from me... How can I set it to just UPS mode where it only discharges battery in grid failure situation?

I am grid tied, self consumption, zero export, AC In connected, AC Out disconnected, no CTs.

My other question is with the Pro app, I have 30kw of batteries, but I find it will not charge them unless I turn on time based and make sure the charge time is currently scheduled. If schedule is disabled, no charging happens, unless it's the scheduled time - even though I have turned that feature off, even though the SOC is below the charge threshold, I want my battery to sit between 20-80% SOC, so if I have 50% SOC it should charge... But instead it was discharging at 4kw even though the AC out was not connected.

There is also a "force charge from grid" option, but it stays disabled when I press that button.

Lastly... Why does it show 213 watts consumption from the battery even when it's grid tied?.

So essentially my current goal is to never consume battery unless grid goes down, and otherwise keep battery charged to 80% SOC.

For UPS mode you need loads on the AC out when when the grid fails it will power that panel. The AIO, like any inverter, can not push power back into a main panel with no grid present it violates the UL Listing for Grid tie.

Most likely on the "Force Charge" button you need to get the inverter firmware updated. If its online please email support@midnitesolar.com with your serial # found on a barcode sticker on the right side of the AIO

Yes, Rick in support did a fantastic job of getting my firmware upgraded, and it was able to force charging.
