Hi, I am looking for an electrical box that can hold ~ 5 - 8 MNEDC style breakers.

https://www.midnitesolar.com/pdfs/CA1-X0-17-767-321-L.pdf

It will be used for DC in the range of 60 - 100 volts in a mobile application.

Typical breaker 10 - 50 amps.

It will not have any of the grounds in it, it is just to replace a fuse block for customer convenience.

The existing setup works just fine and is very reliable.  Uses the 10 x 38 style fuses, and they are really held very well and is rated for use down to ( - 40 C).

The primary reason to change is that it is just easier and less intimidating for customers to flip a breaker than change a fuse.  Also helps with diagnostics.

It would also be nice to be able to have a plastic separator between each breaker to keep the terminals from accidentally rotating and touching.

Right now, each fuse is fed from a screw down terminal block - which definitely works, but it takes up space as well.  I guess I could put this terminal block in the box.

If there was a solar disconnect dual pole breaker that also fit in the box, that would be very helpful.

I own a couple of the quad boxes, but are kind of large and only hold 4 breakers.

Open to suggestions.

Thanks

Harry

Look up Vevor electrical enclosures on Amazon - they have a lot of different sizes and styles.
