pairing Barcelona with Rosie

When pairing a Barcelona with a Rosie (assuming the use of their associated breaker boxes), what is the practical advice for making the electrical connection. Getting a 2/0 cable from the load side of the shunt in the Rosie breaker box to anything seems problematic (lets assume there is a gutter that spans both devices and they are side by side).

My best thought is to connect Barcelona(-) via a ring terminal to Rosie(-) stud and run a very short 2/0 jumper from the Rosie(+) stud to a DC breaker (and then it is more straight forward to come from the breaker to the Barcelona(+)). But working with that 2/0 CU in the Rosie breaker box sounds like a nightmare.

Since these products were release by MidNite in roughly the same time frame, MidNite must have thought about this during design (Custom bus bars???).

I usually recommend external combining like the BCB 500 combiner. It is possible to get 2/0 onto the load side of the shunt in the Rosie breaker box though its just a little more work. Usually the system has multiple strings of batteries so the BCB makes it super easy

So move the whizbang jr from the Rosie bb over to the negative connection to the BCB 500?

Yes that's what I would do, unless of course you are using our Powerflo battery then you can close loop and skip the WBjr altogether.

While workable... the BCB seems like a rather inelegant solution.  If using a PowerFlow with the WBjr remove, maybe there is room to get the 2/0 into the Rosie BB.  Of course if using multiple PowerFlow, the locating a combiner near the batteries maybe preserves the elegance of the Rosie/Barcelona combination.
