About to upgrade my solar electrical system and am looking to sell the old components which will be removed. They are:

Trace SW4024 inverter. Pure sine wave, grid sell back (UL1741 back when it was made that was enough for grid tie, it is not SA or SB, the latest ratings), 24v nominal battery. Single phase 120v. Has optional the DC wiring cover. Also have matching Trace 250A DC breaker box, with breaker and current shunts. This inverter has been in service since it was installed in 1999, and has been working perfectly. Have the original manual but not the shipping box.

Midnite Classic 150 MPPT is about 5 years old (it upgraded a Trace PMW controller). Has been working with ~2600W of panels which is about its limit at 24v. Again, working perfectly since install. Along with the Classic is a Midnite elec box with Midnite 60A and a 20A DC breakers (battery and PV breakers for the Classic).

Batteries are 12 2v industrial AGM lead-carbon Leoch batteries. 1384AH per battery, times 27v divide by 2 (only draw down 50%) gets you the 18.6KWHs for storage) They are about 4 years old, I got them new to replace my failing previous battery pack (which was ~25 years old). They are sealed, vent free industrial cells. Like what would be used in an industrial setting or railroad crossing. They have been kept in float virtually all this time (I have been using the batteries for backup only, not cycling them each day). The only exception was during two, two day fire evacuations and 3 or 4 short (3-5hour) grid down situations. These batteries are rated for 3000+ cycles, and should have most of those cycles left. All the battery wiring and interconnect bars, breakers and shunts are included.

No PV panels are included, as I am keeping and re-using those.

This is rock solid old equipment. It has kept our freezers/fridges/furnace going thru many a power outage. Would be perfect for a remote cabin or the like where cold tolerant batteries are needed, just add panels. It can do grid tied or off grid. Due to the weight of the batteries (and inverter too), local pickup only (Denver-Boulder area).

System is currently in use, but will be removed soon. Reply with questions or to setup a time to see the system.

Best offer. But preference given to someone who wants the entire package.
