Preamble: I'm in a frustrating situation where I only get to visit my system (oh yeah, and my wife) on weekends until March.

I have made progress on configuring the Classic to use endamps, but

1) It did not reset SOC to 100% based on the criteria entered the first time I did a test. Wasn't too concerned, just figured I'd test again this (last) weekend, maybe it needs to go through a complete cycle yada yada.

2) This weekend I was running a generator charge test when I edited the endamps value. At the time the WBJr had me figured at about 67% SOC. When I entered the value, ol WBJr decided to suddenly reset to 100% SOC. WUT?

3) Now I'm out of whack. I was out of time and had to terminate the test knowing that I hadn't reached 100% but WBJr thought so and now had me at a surplus of stored Ahs.

4) I wanted, at least, to reset the Whizbang to 100% before I left (which would still be wrong, but less so) but the procedure I found in the KB article did not work for me even after multiple attempts, nor did editing endamps which somehow got me in this mess in the first place.

Now I get to stew for a week wondering what to do next.

Yes,  after making changes you need to let the Classic go through a full cycle to absorb and float  before the SOC will reset and is going be correct again.

Fantastic news, thanks so much. I have a related question that I should probably put in a new thread but

Is there a way to force the Classic to restart the bulk cycle (apart from fudging the rebulk setting)?

ClassicCrazy

Yes there is a button on the local status app config that says Force Bulk or Force Absorb. It can also be found in the MNGP  by going to Tweaks then press more and you will see BLK and FLT as two options - those are force bulk and force float .

When using gthe Tweaks method, once you've selected the Float or Bulk option, invoking it requires pressing the "up" button.  The first few times I missed that and didn't invoke the change.  Bloody handy feature though.  I use it all the time.

Awesome, appreciate the tip.
