AC Output Voltage

I have a fairly long extension cord feeding my motorhome while its in front of the S&B. It starts out at 119v at the plug inside and apparently its 112v after the long 14 gauge cord.

My assumption would be that Rosie would step up that voltage to 120v, but according to SA its sending 112v into the motorhome.  Is this due to using a Y cable to connect the power to the Rosie on L1 & L2? Or is this just how it works. 
I have made a special cable that does not share the power to L2, would that change the results? I am not using that cable as that requires I remove my Power Watchdog from the shore power circuit.  it would see power on just one leg and turn everything off due to that being a Fault.

I don't really understand what you are trying to do ? Charge batteries from grid power ?

If you want the Rosie to support the loads and deliver 120V then you need to use an outboard charger like an ecoworthy 120V ac charger (60A 48V) max but youll have to drop it down to prob 20A of 48V or so of charging if you've got a long 14 gauge extension cord as the source unit to charge your battery bank. Double conversion. Otherwise the Rosie will see the ac input and switch to pass thru mode, and charge battery if theres excess which sounds like prob not much.

Or eliminate the problem with a 12guage or 10 guage extension cord.  Might be worth the cost.

As noted the Rosie, like any inverter, will pass through the AC in when it is presented. It cant raise the voltage as it did it would sell back to the cord/house/grid. It MUST sync with the source and follow it.
