Hello all.
I've been a Midnite Solar customer for over 10 years but I'm new at the forum. I've recently installed a new solar system in my apartment running a single Classic 150 supplied by 12 Panasonic 330W panels. The ambient temperature here is never below 30 degrees C during summer. This caused the internal fans on my Classic to run frequently. Knowing that heat is electronics worst enemy, I finally found a way to cool down the classic. I got a 3D printed 90 degree duct that fits like custom built and supports a 140mm computer fan. Adding a PWM fan controller to the setup allows me to adjust the speed of the fan and the Classic operating temperature. I'm looking forward to add a thermostat for fully automatic cooling. The Noctua 140mm 3,000 RPM fan is fully capable for the job even at low speed. By posting this, I just want to share an idea on how to increase a Classic lifespan. Thanks.IMG_5165.jpeg ;D

Ive done similar.  A fan hanging above my Classic 250 blowing down on it.  It's controlled by Aux 1 on Daylight I think.  Runs during the day.  Also have drilled 1/4 inch hole grid on the lower part of the cover since all the holes are filled with conduit.
You could try a solid state relay run off Aux of the 150.  They're cheap enough.
