Haven't seen any activity here for a while. My forum access has been on and off though lately. Something about DNS routing issues...
So, I have some software that can help track the EQs. If you are having problems often enough to warrant trying this out, please PM me.
Thanks,
boB
Hi bob, i was on and off but now I only get into the forum from my phone, if you find the fix can you email me?

Walt, I think that Ryan is going to have Rob have the forum hosted on the MidNite server again so it
should be good again soon.
I can get to it using my phone (AT&T) but am using TOR browser on my laptop right now. TOR allows you to
surf from another IP address which may have a better shot. I will try an IP Traceroute and see where it
is stopping at. OK, right at the moment tracert is not getting any further than my comcast/xfinity
router ! Interesting. It doesn't seem to work from home either so I will try tracert from home again
tonight.

Sory guys i see i pushed this one way off the topic, i wish. To see the problems solves but not at the exspence or this tread.
I split this off on its own so as to not divert the original thread. If I sliced off too many posts, let me know.
Tom
This problem appears to be related to those of us using Comcast/Xfinity as our ISP.
All 3 Comcast internet provider sites that I try from do will NOT access this forum.
I have emailed Comcast and given them the information they should need to
look at it. I heard back from them where they wanted the name, social security
number, account number, first born names, show sizes, etc. and replied with
that information but no answer yet.
So, for whatever reason, kb1uas.com is being blocked by comcast. No reason
why and so far, no response about it. Hopefully by tomorrow.
You here who are on Comcast might also try talking with them to let them know.
For now, I am using TOR to access the forum through comcast which works fine.
thanks,
boB

As noted on my tracert I use Comcast from the Bay Area and have no problem reaching the forums. Must be a routing error somewhere in the path for you. We had a problem a while back that we could not reach TiVo servers unless we lowered the MTU number. Was finally traced to a non Comcast router problem that Comcast routed around until it was fixed. Lots of fun stuff.

Well, 3 of the Comcast nodes I have tried don't seem to allow me to get into this forum. I have tried chatting
and emailing their support to little avail... Emailed accessibility@comcast.net and received email requesting
contact info, SS# associated with the account and account holders' name. I sent that to them
and received some message from someone back saying or that this was some kind of billing address and to
call customer tech. This avenue looked like it was going to go somewhere from their first reply.
I just think that Comcast is so big and screwed up that they can not have a human chat or email
someone but need customers to talk to someone with a list of answers.
Of couse, "accessibility" is for special needs people but since the forum was "inaccessible",
I figured it was OK to try because that was also the ONLY email address I could
find on their web site. No support@ or tech@ or service@ comcast.com/net....
H0w about the presidential candidates tell the huge companies that they have to be
accessible by human to human interaction too ?
Seems like accessibilty@comcast.net/com should also be correct because they themselves
are inaccessible ? Guess I will just have to stay on the phone for however long it takes
to talk to a human being ! I hope they don't hang up on me in the middle of waiting
which happens way too often.
boB
Didn't the US just give away control of the inter-tubes ?
And so it begins

As far as I know (AFAIK), east coast doesn't have problems.
