Title: The grid AC in to Rosie + battery

The Grid to AC in to Rosie. How to program Rosie to not use the battery power. I want to program Rosie day and night use the grid, in case of power outage Rosie switch to the battery.

Or Rosie is ready

By default that is how Rosie is programmed. It will always use the grid if its present.

I have the other question Rosie has a Can bus, can I use that port for RS485.

CAN and RS485 uses different pin outs and they are not the same .

Think you will have to allow Midnite to chin in that one
