Axial Flux Design with Midnite Classic Questions

I am still in the planning stage to add a Hugh Piggott style wind turbine and would like some input on changes related to using a Midnite Classic controller.  My current setup is a 2000ah x 24v battery bank with 3kw of solar and 8kw of inverters.  I am looking to build then add the wind turbine to the system.  I was wondering if anyone have suggestions on what changes from the 24v I should make?  Along with charge controller selection (150, 200, 250 and do I need a clipper?) and whatever other hints people may be willing to give before I start buying the supplies to make the turbine.

It seems most of those are geared towards 48v systems.  I am still reading it though but don't see much about 24v.
