As we bring the Classic to market there will be a few bugs along the way and I will post about them here to keep people informed. I will ask if anyone wants to comment on these bugs to please either start a thread or PM me on the issues so this sticky can be just info for everyone without having to dig to deep to get the info.

Thank you

CLASSIC J TAG PINS NOT CUT OFF

There have been a few Classic controllers get out of MidNite without the J Tag programming pins cut off. There has been one instance of these pins getting bent into each other from the MNGP cable hitting them on installation. While this does not hurt the Classic it can prevent it from working properly. MidNite is recommending any one that has the pins still on the board take care not to bend these. You can cut them off taking care not to lose the little pieces into the Classic if you feel comfortable with doing it. Feel free to contact Myself on this matter. I have attached a picture of the pins for reference.

ABSORB ISSUE ON 48 VOLT BATTERY
This bug was fixed with software 3-1-11
It has come to our attention that in the past there was a bug introduced that would cause some controllers on a 48 volt battery bank to have an issue going to absorb. The Classic will hit its target voltage for absorb but would not switch to absorb or if it did it will cycle back and forth and the absorb timer will not be acurate do to this. We are testing new software today and expect to have a public release by mid to late week. Rob is working on the website to add a link to the latest software so hopefully that will be done soon and you can find this software there if not feel free to email and I will get it out to you.

It has come to our attention that the Relay function of Aux 1 is wired wrong on the board and it is Normally Closed not Normally Open. We will be working on a small repair kit that will consist of a small relay that you can wire into Aux 1. You would then move the jumpers over to have Aux 1 transmit a dc voltage instead of being a relay this would power the little relay. We will post directions here ASAP on doing this so if you need this function and can not wait for us to send a relay you can pick up a small relay from the auto parts store and make this fix. Here is a link to the repair instruction sheet http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31975941/Aux%201%20relay%20repair.pdf

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and will work with anyone with this relay issue to correct it. Feel free to Call me or Email me on this matter anytime.
