I got that message yesterday myself !

What I did is to right-click on it and "save link as" and it downloaded OK then.
But that was from our firewall.  Said it was a trojan.  very weird indeed !

If you are getting the message that you cannot run it, just tell windows (is it windoze ?) to
run it anyway.  They always seem to say that for .exe files.

Go to the C:\MidniteSolar  folder with the previous version in it and look for uninstall.exe double click it to run the uninstall. Trying to uninstall from the Control Panel has never worked for me.

Now run the downloaded file from Midnite to install.
