I want to setup mu BB to be 36V. 6X6V=36V golf cart battery setup. Can Classic 150 support this BB and where/how do I set it to it if it can?

Off grid system:
3 X 230W 36V 8A SolarWorld in series,
Classic 150,
36V BB - 225Ah 6x6V Trojan T-105 T2,
3000W psw Inverter,
Fridge 159KWh/Y, 30W led lights, laptop, TV.

Easy.  Just select 36V battery bank from the VMM menu which the Classic is shipped to come up in.

OR, power up while holding down the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys on the display to get that setup
screen.

We had a manufacturer of souped up golf carts want to do something special. He wanted to use an 80V Lithium battery. OK, that isn't so hard. Then he wanted the Classic to be able to charge that with a 24V solar panel strapped to the top of the vehicle. That did take Bob a couple of days, but guess what? Every Classic now can actually do that. I am not sure, but it may even be able to charge a 36V battery from a 24V source? I believe this may be one of those undocumented features.

if the classic can up-convert PV voltage to a higher battery voltage, I would call that a BIG Thing and advertise the heck out of it.

that feature was originally advertised back in 2011 on brochures (ie coming soon), the Classic in effect being a buck/boost converter. There was also some forum talk about this in 2013 but it was not an urgent or top of the list of features to add.
Is there a new firmware release incorporating this boost feature? when is it planned for release?
Can the same boost feature be added to the KID?

OK, I just connected a 24v pv panel with 36.6 mpv to input of Classic 150 that is wired via WBjr to a 100Ah
48v Lifepo4 battery bank.
It doesn't charge the battery (no output current over WBjr) so I assume we need a firmware update? or is there a secret screen on the MNGP to enable this boost feature  ;D
