Notice name change also...... The ASPEN

rated now for 30% DoD!

I was so hopeful that their technology was solid and not smoke and mirrors since we will be needing to buy some batteries soon and they Will NOT be lead acids again.

WRT the name change, perhaps like when Windows released the notoriously bad Vista and then  they renamed it "Mojave" to sell a few renamed versions to the uninformed? Greed  can be a powerful force.

Or not.

Do NOT mistake me for any kind of "expert".

Not me, we had our election last Oct., one second of democracy, and now have to live with the naive lair for the next 3 1/2 yrs... he told us he was going to have a deficit budget and boy do we ever!
Not as bad as the US but we are inching closer day by day...

The real news is the catastrophic wild fires in Northern BC and the big one at Fort McMurray,Alberta,  85,000 people evacuated and it is growing...

Ok, so you are blaming my cows over here for global warming?????????????????????????? ;)
We were told over here that this year we may not even experience a winter as such as our daytime temps are still in the 30's
even though we are into winter. When I was a kid by march we would be having frosts. It is now May and we have warm nights and hot days still!

toothy

On the Aquions, I'm not sure that is what it says. I have already partaken of the Coolaid, so I may be biased.

As I read it the usable DOD is still 100%, 100% may not hurt them but my inverter won't go to that low a voltage.

Cycle life = 3000 cycles retaining at least 70% of rated capacity for warranty but the warranty has gotten considerably longer. I believe mine were 80% for 2 years.

I made it through the winter and forgot to absorb them regularly, I also forgot to water or equalize them at all. It was terrible to not have the joys of babysittlng the old fla's!

The love affair may not last, but at least I don't hate them like I did the lead acids from day one.

Oh, and there is the possibility I have it all screwed up.

I have now moved over to plastic work pants called Dickie's since I have destroyed so many jeans .
Not with the loss of FLA & moved into AGM's , I might do jeans again.
