Battery Voltage low during Charge

Hi Larry,  Thanks for the Link to the East Penn Duracell charging specs.

Had been searching for the,  "Duracell Golf Cart EGC2 Batteries"  that Tom mentioned were his exact batteries,  but could not find them.

The Temp Comp noted,  is -- 3mV/Cell/C,  but see no mention of the target SG for a fully-charged cell.

They talk about specific gravity in this but I can't find where they way what it should be - I think they mean 1.250 since they reference that and I see that specified for their 2v cells.

I finally found some specific East Penn Deka 6v battery  solar charging specs and specific gravity info

Bulk 30% of 20hr AH rating
Absorb   2.4 to 2.45 per cell
Float      2.3 to 2.35
Equalize 2.5 to 2.55
     Specific Gravity (fully charged)             
1.275 @ 25°C (77°F).
