I'm trying to find some Rosie information that does not seem to be in the manual:
  • The Rosie Max input current (AC or DC) is 210ADC - Hmmm, that seems like a DC only max current.  What is the Max AC input current.  In standby mode, how is that shared between charging and passthrough to the AC output?
  • What is the maximum DC charge current?

Rosie has a max passthrough current of 60 amps at 240VAC in passthrough and a max DC charge current of 120 amps

So if I have 50 amps worth of load and a significantly depleted battery when grid AC becomes available, does the breaker just pop or does the rosie back off on charging until the load drops?

FNG

In your example (Assuming you are feeding it with a 60A breaker) what would happen is 50A would go to the load and 10AAC would go towards charging. In other words, Yes the Rosie will bck its charger down to obey the AC input breaker size to prevent it from tripping
