Troubleshooting a MN3024DIY Error 03

Hi,

I have a MN3024DIY which is now about 2 weeks out of the 1 year warranty. It is now throwing an error 03 which, per the manual, means the battery bank is not detected. Except the unit charges the battery bank when connected to line power and shows the correct voltage of the battery bank. If line power is disconnected the unit shuts off so it's not drawing power in from the battery for some reason. In the last year it's only been used to supply power twice, once to test my 90w CPAP machine and once to actually run it during a power outage. Other than that it has seen no use at all. That was eight months ago and this error only showed up in the last week.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to troubleshoot it?
