Hi All!  I normally run AH Efficiency at 88% to keep the Hawks Bay/Rosie SOC in close sync with my Pytes V5 batteries.  I recently updated all my equipment to the latest PRODUCTION firmware and now the AH Efficiency is LOCKED at 98%.  Anybody else verify this and WHY did MN do it? Is it a glitch? Now my SOC gets way off from the true battery setting.

Firmware
MNGP2:  24.12.10
Rosie:  25.2.13
HB:     24.5.31

I have Solar Assistant connected to the MN CanBus for monitoring only & the Pytes V5 batteries are also connected to Solar Assistant, but I am running open loop.  There is NO direct connection from the MN CanBus to the Pytes V5 batteries, so no closed loop.  The Midnite SOC number is not displayed thru the Solar Assistant screens as far as I know or see, only visible on the MNGP2 itself.  Thanks All!

I have same versions firmware as you on my Hawkes Bay.
And yes it won't let me change it from 98% even though the box show around it like for other parameter that can be adjusted. I notice now it won't let me change from Lithium to another battery type like Lead Acid either. There are some other menus that can't be changed either.
Maybe it is a firmware glitch ? Or maybe they are all stuck in there when selected coming from fresh default start ?

Good morning Larry, thanks for confirming.  The battery type has always been locked once a type is selected.  Not sure if it follows a MNGP2 or Hawkes Bay reset, but one of those does reset all battery parameters.  Once you set the first few battery parameters, including the type, you have to back out of the menu system.  When you re-enter, more parameters then become available to set.  The AmpHour Efficiency, however, can't be a locked parameter or why even have it in the first place.  It's an adjustment depending on your specific batteries and how efficient they are, which will change over time. Maybe this should be posted in the HB thread?

Is the issue you cannot highlight the value or that you can highlight it but not change it?

Hey Ryan.  You can't even highlight it.  You can scroll to it, it puts the white-lined box around the 98, but it will not highlight when you press to select it.

Good morning Ryan. Any update/fix for the Amp Hour Efficiency issue?  Is it the Rosie or MNGP2 firmware if we wanted to roll back to a previous firmware?  Thanks

Hi all.  The latest MNGP2 Production Firmware fixes this glitch!!!  Version 25.03.27.00. This firmware release wasn't posted on the MNGP2 Specific thread, but I stumbled across it today.  Rainy day here, so I was going to revert the Rosie firmware to see if that fixed the problem and I checked the Update App, just in case.  This update popped up, so I applied it and checked the AmpHour Effeciency setting, and it works again :). Thanks MN!!!

Same update for MNGP2 is on the Beta . I am trying to install it now , always seems like it takes me a few tries. I cleared storage on the app, and unplugged and plugged back in the MNGP2. It is going now - so far so good .
It loaded up okay . The amp hour efficiency is now settable just like you said.

Same with the Production download.  Took 4 attempts for me to get it successfully.  Blamed it on the holiday weekend ... LOL
