Little Rosie updates

I got the Little Rosie hooked up to the Hawkes Bay. MNGP2 shows the Little Rosie output and for changing settings.
If use the updater app on Android or Iphone - it only sees the Hawkes Bay - there is nothing about Little Rosie showing . I even tried disconnecting the mngp2 from Hawkes Bay - did a reset on it, and plugged little rosie directly into mngp2 and ran the updater app and nothing about little rosie shows up on updater . Is it supposed to ?
I tried quite a few times ( 30 or so ) to get MNGP2 updated but it always fails . Last time I did update for mngp2 I used an iphone but that only has production app  - not a beta app like the android has.
Does anyone have any tricks to get the stubborn MNGP2 to take a beta update? ( I was able to get the Hawkes Bay update to work ) .
