CT Sensor Max Distance

Good Afternoon,
Can anyone please confirm the maximimum distance that the MN15-12KW-AIO CT sensors can accommodate between incoming service and the inverter?

I am considering install locations and am curious about:
- the length of the included CT sensor cable
- if the cable can be extended using standard Cat5/6 cable
- assuming the cable can be extended, what the max distance is.

Thanks!

I'd be interested in getting this answer too.

Do the MN CTs have a built in resistor or are they purely current devices?

Anyone know the answer or has tried this?

A lot of similar inverters with CTs say that you could extend the Rj cables if you need to put it further .
Not sure  about extending the wites
1.5kw on Midnite classic 150(whizbang jr.) networked 0.660kw on classic lite 200 wbjr ,180ah CALB Lifepo4 48v battery bank,jkbms 150amps bms(top balanced) Outback vfx3648.
Soon to be added Sol Ark 8k with 5Dyness Bx51000 ,7.8kw pv

Had an idea for a fairly quick test we could do to test extending the CTs out, with a bit of help from MN support. It goes like this:

My AIO is up and running now. MN support can check it remotely and see the CT values it is currently getting without any cable extension (I believe they can do that remotely).

I quickly shut the inverter off, and place a 200' cat6 extension cable on the end of the CT cable, and turn the inverter back on. And MN support can check it again and see if the CTs are working as before or if there are problems. (or could hot plug the extension in, if that is OK too)

Whole thing should take about 10 mins or so, and I think would give a pretty good indication if an extension is workable, at least at the length of this cable.

Just need a bit of help from MN support; I'll supply the parts. And we could get fancy, and try different length cable extensions and see how far it works to extend.

What do you think?

Since the load changes, I think it would be best to compare against a known entity. I can directly compare the data pulled from the MN15 compared to my envoy CTs as well if someone supplied that 200' extension cable. I am currently extending it by another 10' and have no issues with the readings being inline with the envoy.

I spoke to Rick on this and he says they cannot be extended at all unfortunately.

Thanks FNG / All.
OP here. Can someone please confirm the length of the CT sensor cables? May have missed it, but could not find in the docs.

EDIT:  Found it.  5m / 16.4ft
