I have installed an off grid system 2.6Kw with 12 Trina PCM05 220 poly panels, 8x200 AH AGM batteries, Midnite classic 150 charge controller and a 2.25Kw inverter. I used 35mm copper, Panels are in 4 strings of 3 panels each(72v with VOC of 110v) due south with  27 degree tilt(summer angle). Right now in mid summer with 12 hours of sunlight and 8 hours of peak sun exposure this system is generating around 12kwh/day with ambient temperatures of 42-48 Celsius. I am new to all this and have now idea how much power should be generated on average. Can anybody guide me if i am producing enough power or do i need to further optimize the system. Because i just keep on thinking that for this many panels i should be generating around 20KwH excluding the losses. Is that right or an over estimation on  my part?
Off Grid: 5.280 Kw, 24 Trina TSM-220PC05 panels, Classic 150 CC, 400Ah battery bank in 48v configuration, Siemens WR92 2.2Kw inverter.

Based on the yearly average of 'good sun' hours being 4 - 5 hrs, you are getting a good production amount.
12Kwh / 2.6 = 4.6 hrs so you are right in the middle...
ps you never get name plate watts from your panels, generally derate wattage to 72% = 1.872 Kw
so 12 kwh / 1.872 = 6.4 hrs of good production.

Keep in mind that if you are not using power and your batteries are fully charged, your charge controller will not be collecting power.  If I don't need to run my window A/C my KwH is low for the day.  But if I am running my A/C all day long and slow cooker I will get easy 3 to 5x more KwH for the day then without my A/C.

I don't know if you have any power draw during the day like TV's or slow cookers.

Thanks. I put some load on the system today and got 13.7 KwH. From what I got till yet, that's pretty good. Now I have to add around 12 more panels and more batteries to meet my needs. ;D
