classic 200 ethernet connections

Happy Memorial Day to all.  Let us not forget those that served and paid with their lives.

I have ordered and am waiting for two classic 200 charge controllers to arrive.  I am totally new to RE.  I may be a bit premature asking but the docs and videos from Midnite (which are excellent btw) do not explain procedure for installing more than one classic to a PC/router/range extender.  Would I need two Ethernet cables to two ports on a router or do the Classics communicate to each other and both are seen when I open Midnite dashboard?

Hi Jay !   And happy memorial day to you !

Yes, you will need a separate Ethernet connection from each Classic or wifi bridge if connecting
the Classic to your local wifi LAN.

The Local App or My Midnite can then access the two Classics.

I commissioned my system (dual Xantrex4500's and two classic 200s two weeks ago. Still tweaking but very happy and I am monitoring classics thru dashboard successfully.
