ok i know the classic is also a wind controller but i don't really get the manual clearly, so my questions is how do one configure a classic to operate a wind turbine so that it functions as a dump load or diversion controller,

I suppose you would just need to set AUX1 to activate where you want to dump power. I used AUX1 to activate a relay to control a water heater as an opportunity load between certain voltage set points.

There is also a mode called "Clipper Control" on AUX2 (i think) that can activate an SSR to shed power from the turbine to keep it from running over voltage into the Classic.

Lots of folks using the AUX utputs to control many things.

boB or Ryan could give you more info but I think the answer is "yes" but how may need some input from others.
