Want to wire a Magnum 2012 to an e-panel. Generator is a 240v - two hot wires and neutral. The 2012 manual shows a SI/DO, DI/SO OR DI/DO configurations that would allow for this and the inverter has both a hot 1 and hot 2 terminal. However the e-panel only has a single hot 1. So is it not possible to do this with an e-panel? I'm referring to the wiring schematics on the Midnite website and they all seem really old, 2006-2008. Can you do this with the current e-panels and the docs just aren't updated......?

So you want to use the inverter as a 120vac inverter but pass through 240vac from the generator to the house when the generator is running? If so the best way may be to use the Magnum 120/240 PAE epanel. If you simply want to use the 240vac generator to charge the batteries than you could probably use the 120 vac epanel

I want to use the full output of the generator which is putting out 240v. There are no 240v loads but the main house panel has a standard mains panel so it needs 120v on each leg which I can't accomplish unless I jumper the mains panel. However it appears that the Magnum 2012 inverter has the ability to take in two hots and deliver two hots to the output. If I just wire in one leg than I cut the output in half...is this correct? I already have the standard e-panel.  :P
