Classic and Kid in "Follow Me"??

OK, I don't fully  understand the process of "follow me" other than what I read quite a while back. So I believe the master tells the rest to fall in line  and the Whiz bang reports to the master...right?

Q#1.  Is it feasible to have a Classic with a Kid in "follow Me ' mode?

Q#1. can the Kid be used to maintain the charge on a bank and the Classic use an Aux. port to turn on/off the AC from the inverter that feeds a Hot Water element?   Or Visa Versa


My idea, and I don't know if this is even feasible is to do, came about while thinking about another post that wanted 'system' charge status for a Classic / Kid combo...

I'm not exactly positive what is going to happen in the future but I believe that the hardware is follow me capable as designed.

So there is hope -  Awesome!   It would be great if I can get all of my kids to "follow me"

I'm to the point installing a solar array where I do need the Beta Kid's assistance. I have 2,200 watts on a Classic 200 powering a OB VFX 3524.  I used the classic tool and it says they will both fit, but just barely over. A classic 200 can handle 8 new panels and I am counting on the Kid taking up the slack with 2 additional panels. This is one Kid that I hope will follow me. I'll know in a few days.

For anyone wanting a more current answer on this, I just checked with Midnite on this issue this morning and you currently can not have a Kid "Follow Me" with a Classic.  There is still plans on making this happen but since I wanted to sync my Classic handling my wind turbine with a solar charge controller I will have to get another Classic.
