I have two classic 150 charge controllers (1 Classic and 1 Lite). I have the follow-me cables connected and follow-me enabled through the local app. Both charge controllers have the blinking blue LED which indicates that follow-me is enabled. The Classic has ModBus address of 9 and the Lite an address of 10. When I have the follow-me enabled, the charge controllers will randomly reset. When I disable the follow-me, the reset problem goes away. I have attached the mymidnite from today:

Classic

Classic 150V (rev 4)
MAC: 60:1D:0F:00:27:B9
Device ID: A6C7 8BF
IP: 192.168.1.128:502

Firmware:
- Classic Rev: 1609
- Network Rev: 1597

Lite

Classic 150V (rev 4)
MAC: 60:1D:0F:00:2F:63
Device ID: 4F02 2B6F
IP: 192.168.1.129:502

Firmware:
- Classic Rev: 1609
- Network Rev: 1597

Also, the DC voltage readings when compared to the actual battery voltage are off by about .4. I have compensated as a workaround when the system is under charge load. This means that when not under load, they are about .4 volt low. I compensated under charge load for the absorb voltage as I  have Absolyte IIP VLRA batteries and they cannot be over voltage'd without causing damage. Is there anything I can do to get the voltage to read correctly whether under charge load or under discharge?

Welcome to the forum,

The voltage problem sounds like a voltage drop in your cables.  I suspect that either you have a high resistance connection between the controller and the battery, or that the cable itself is too thin.

One other thought comes to mind... how are the inverters, controllers, and battery connected to each other?  Ideally you would have a bus bar connected to the battery and have the electronics connected to the bus bar.  If your connections are different, that MAY be the cause of your problem.

Vtmaps has some good questions on the voltage drop.
Did you adjust the Vbatt Offset adjustment in the tweaks menu  or did you change the actual
charge voltage ?  Try the Offset adjustment if you haven't tried that.
If the offset tweak does not work well enough over the whole charging range, there is
another adjustment you can do in addition to the offset which is the blue or gray trim-pot
below the bottom yellow inductor on the Classic circuit board.

The voltage will need to be most accurate of course when in Absorb.

On the resetting in Follow Me...  This is a new one I believe.  The others can set me straight
if I am forgetting something here.

What is your software version on those Classics ?  The Local App should show this.
I believe there will be a firmware version coming up that will significantly help with
most resets.  I'm not exactly sure about your case and Follow-Me resetting BUT I now think
that all of these resets are related, fortunately.
