600 volt controller?!?!

I'm pretty sure that I've seen some posts from the Midnite folks indicating that Midnite did NOT intend to compete in the 600 volt controller market.

So I am surprised to click on the "Robin's Corner" link on Midnite's home page and see this page:

Yes boB wrote this and "We" is the PV industry in general. I added a sentence to the title to help with this.

600V charge controllers are very tough to design. They take a long time and the market for them is small. We went the other direction and designed the KID. Good luck to Schneider and Morningstar on their 600V controllers. They can have that market.
