My SPDs don't have the little plastic security clip thingy

Hi folks,

I bought 3 SPD 300s from my local solar store. I noticed two of them don't have the security clip with the midnite logo and code # :



Those have a date code of : Q1-2014.

While the other SPD 300 (which has the clip) also has a date code of Q1-2014 (not 100% clear)

Are they being shipped with the clip still?

BTW : All three boxes were opened by myself and the contents were all accounted for.

The Security locks are being phased out. So it sounds like you got some from before and some from after
