Looking for help resurrecting an old Jacobs

All concerned;
I know this is a solar forum, but having a midnight charge controller for my Jake should satisfy the masses.
I have been working on restoring an old Jake, 110V DC 2500 Watt unit.  To my astonishment, usually I can drag these projects out for years; I am nearing completion…kind of.
I am looking to source some spare parts for this beast and coming up short.  Looking for a blade actuated governor and/or parts of one, and looking for a mastermind control box.  The control box is mainly for looks, and I want to study it some.
Also, I am in the works to install a PV array also, hopefully this coming summer, grid-tied battery backup system. I'm sure I will be back with questions.
