Have you ever seen a KID do this??

Hello all
   I just got my to KIDS hooked up about 3weeks ago.
They are doing something pretty odd.When the sun sets or
when I turn off the PV to them. They go into rest mode for about
30min then one of then but not the same one every time and rarely
both of them Lock up. The display shows blocks all the across and none
of the bottens will do anything. The only way to get them to respond
is to turn off  Pv and battery input the screen turns off then repower.
Then they work great till then next sunset or when I turn off PV.
The kids are not linked togeather and I am running 350wts of PV going to each kid
Going Into a 12v battery bank. 
     I spoke with the tech at midnite she said sènd them in. I thaught
It would be worth asking on here before I disconnected everything payed to ship
Them back and was out of power for a couple weeks. 
   Hopefully someone has had this happen and can help. I am up for trying things to fix this issue

Can you tell me the serial number? (found on the bottom on a label with a barcode I believe)

Also can you tell me what firmware you are running? Usually shows on initial power up.

I talked to Raechel and she said she has been working on this. I asked her to call you today and get you taken care of. She will most likely be shipping you a couple new kids and labels for those 2 as we desperately want to see what is going on with these two Kids

From Rachel and she is sending two new kids and call
tags for mind. I will send mine back to you in the new boxes.
Thank you for resolving this so fast. I didn't want to give up
on them because they are making lots of power. Please let me
Know what you find out about them.

Did you receive your replacement unit? Can you please post for updates, has the issues and concern have been resolved? I believe we have the similar concern with kid. Check this link for your reference.

For all those watching this thread, Mario is pretty certain the issue is a calibration issue on the PV side. If you have this issue please take a volt meter and check the actual voltage of the PV side compared to the Kids displayed voltage. if this is off it causes this issue.
