I hooked this one to the other system that is 12V & in 2 days it's green , so I changed it with the 12v one that has been on the 12v system for months & now it's doing the same as the orignal 24v system . Every day for all of last week sun & tee-shirt weather , float by 11AM the green 100% is lit at 10AM last week , while the classic WBjr says 80~94% or abouts when im checking. I never ever have I seen a green (this is the weeks side diodes) been red for a month !! , I did see a yellow diode once ,, but every day the WBjr is stating fully charger at 27~28 volts ..I use these as a quick drive by check .

VT,  are they FLA's?  Got any SGs? sounds like the absorb is not long enough for a start.

Yes FLA's & now back at the ranch/farm I'll get time & numbers . Were in Hatching mode with many sets

Edit add : AbV 28.9 for 2:45 Hr EqV 29.8 @ 1:35hr FlV 27.4 and Im normally at 98-100% at 11:30 -noon on semi sunny days , today was gray & hit float at 2-3pm . I have the WBj set on 660 AH & 82 % efficiency .

I know If i stick this BCM on the 12 V system it will bee green light in 2 days & I'll never see the yellow one.

Im thinking that the parameters on the 24V end are off some wheres. I'll get the SG's next break. This will take time due to I need to be left alone !! to do this safely & in correct order to log.

Another 12 hachins today  , It will be noisy in 2 months here , ducks are next

You might crank up the Absorb voltage a bit and let it run for a couple of hours
and see if that makes the LED go off.

You did set the jumpers correctly, right ?   That makes me think of an idea....

If you are using flooded LA batteries, maybe try setting the jumpers for a lower
voltage satisfied battery and see if the LED goes off with a normal Absorb.

Mr boB
I did the jump switch to the AGM and the next day Im in green on both lights ..
Perfect , so now I'll lower the absorb back down in time .

Thanks , I can use the telescope & view it in the winter.

Update , This is working as it should , We are using the system as designed & things were going great after the changing the pins to AGM . then the fires started & I haven't seen a clear sky or a Non-Orange sun for a week . The lights are in Red & we have had to have the gen/inverter on them for a few hrs.. SO it's working as I planed , but I can't view the BCM from the ranch due to smoke haze , sometimes visibility is less that a 500 yards and then is back to less than a mile / KM .

Edit after a few fort-nights plus
I find the 12V , 48V sets quick & the 24V takes longer , since I run a few systems here. I will be dropping all 12Vdc & using converters on switched systems (emergency cabins etc) .Having these on a mini ATC fuse I can cycle them & in good weather there back in form in a few days , clouded or winter , week could happen I found .. My weather is a little worse than head office Arlington WA.
