Ended up having 2000W custom made unit manufactured and delivered by these guys from China.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/200972548308?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Service and communication was simple, delivery fast and price was just right. I tested it and it works.
It is what it claims to be and time will tell how long is going to last. Priced like that I can afford couple spare units laying around. :)

Seal it in a jar with a tube for the SMOKE !!
DO NOT PUSH it , It's a one time wonder  & if the fuses are not solder in , replace with 3/4 max
so if they have 40's install if you can & not soldered in , 20's  if 30 use 15 .. there is NO repair .
I did that BS back before intelligence of what I do .

I have full wiring Diagrams plus tonns of parts they sent .
PM me your addy & Ill send all the Crap (No Smoke ) .

You will see , how I wasted my time & money was my learning backhand.

Are you suggesting to replace fuses with lesser value fuses? I do not understand second part  of your message.

Pretty sure he wants you to limit it to a lower power. Lighter fuses will keep it from pushing too hard by opening sooner.

I tend to agree. I have let the magic smoke out of a couple of those "Cheap Chinese" inverters over the years by pushing them at their limits and blowing up the power FETs.

There are good reasons that quality inverters cost a fair bit. Much better engineered with protection against abuse built in and higher quality components.

Of course, it comes down to whatever works for you.

Or not.

My post was in JOKE forum also , but limit the amps as in fuses . I cooked up a few that also killed one of my deep freezers.
Since I turfed  that  UN-Reliable Power supplier , thrown out the asian suppliers , I have spent money on lasting items.
I was saying the drop the fuse size so if you get close , the fuse pops and lets you know your pushing max.

I cooked one JUST like yours 3000W on 24vdc , it ran one new(non- computer type) 25cf freezer that started at 3-400 watts &  ran at 120-135 watts  1.5Kw / day usage . The freezer was more of a loss than the stiff backhand I needed.

Just  watch your loads & keep them low , the cooling fans are of crap quality also , makes sure they both work .

OK I see your point guys and that is why I got inverter three times the size I need. I want them to run cool most of the time. Electric panel breakers will take care of the rest. There will be two separate circles and each circle will have breaker. Two of these breakers together will have about 50% of inverter amperage capacity.
