Self consumption of the CLassic 150

Today I was reorganizing my system and while all inverters & loads are disconnected I restarted the Classic.  I noticed the WhizbangJr amp reading to be about 1/2 an Amp lower than the Classic reading.  I've noticed this before, at least a difference, but that was with the inverters turned off rather than completely disconnected.  I always thought the inverter had some consumption even when off.  Is this self consumption of the Classic that I'm seeing or is my WBjr's reading off?

Can you check with a good DVM for a difference in Voltage's between & any voltage drops  ? there is under menus a trimming voltage selection , Tweaks Im thinking .

It used to be ~ 4 - 6W and it has been slowly reduced to  ~ 2 W now...reductions have been made through new FW versions... can't find the post by boB... ???

WB , at .5 amp , he's looking for 12Watts ..
I was amazed at some of my found voltage drops .
Not nearly as close to the one you found with the posted picture .

Also only ONE wire from the battery bank to shunt . I even moved my MNBCM to the load side of the shunt . 50mv don't take much .

You see that Battery pack i was talking about ? there is 12+ on the island to be changed .

As an example the  VFX uses 1.6W in "aux off". Try it with all the breakers off except the classic. Also the classic output amps is no where near as accurate as the WbJr reading. You can check the WBJR reading with a fluke on mv range acorss the shunt.

Okay, the difference dropped to 0.2 Amps at night.  So that's about 5.5 Watts and the LCDs aren't in low power mode.  I monitor things on-line so I should change the LCDs to a low-power mode.  My Wbjr wire never would reach all the way to the classic so I've had a small wall nut & bell wire to complete that connection since installation.  Wbjr is a lot closer to the classic now I've re-organized the system, and put it in the DC main panel, but still can't quite make it.  I need to update my profile as I just swapped out my cheapie 1500 watt inverter for a 4000 watt Magnasine + 240 volt main AC panel (getting closer to running the Air Conditioner this summer).  Also, I rotated the battery bank and cleaned all the positive leads (No corrosion over the winter).  Today, I did system startup checks on the Magnasine and it is running a 24Watt stabilizer load on one of it's 15 amp circuits.  According to Wbjr the system is consuming about 57 Watts to run a 24 Watt CFL.  I assume the inverter is consuming most of the rest.  Thanks to everyone for the responses.  I'll start running some checks after I put the LCDs in low power mode.

0.2 amps is a wee bit high for a Classic these days at night on  a 24V system but it is possible.

I am assuming you are running 24V bank.  Are you depending on the arc fault ?   If not, the
more recent Classics (last couple of years ?) are able to de-power that circuitry and lower
the consumption almost a watt.  I find that the back-light (low power) doesn't make a lot
of difference.

A Watt is about .038 Amp here and might not show a difference rounded to nearest 1/10 Amp (On the display).  Some display items are possibly truncated rather than rounded.  T-comped voltages come to mind.  When Arc-fault is off does the Classic automatically disable the circuitry or does some action need to be taken?  Also is this related to a particular firmware release?  Thank you.
