My Plan.....

Hi all

First the specs on my system.

My System:
Midnite Classic 150
Whizbang Jr.
System voltage 24V
6 panels for a total of 900 watts
4 Interstate 235AH 6volt batteries
1000 watt grid tie inverter
2500 watt 24v to 110v inverter

Now for my plan.

What I envision happening is sun comes up in the morning and the Classic goes into BULK charge.  WBJ will monitor batteries and go to ABSORB at the correct time.  When the SOC gets to 95% (or whatever % the Classic starts to throttle back the charging current) AUX 1 will close and energize the relay going to the 1000w GTI.  Next the REBULK setting (.5v below the ABSORB voltage) will put the Classic back into bulk charge to get maximum output from the panels.  This condition will be maintained until the SOC gets to 90% at which point AUX 1 will open turning off the GTI.  Then the cycle will repeat throughout the day.

Seeing as this will never let the Classic get to FLOAT to fully charge the batteries I plan to turn off the GTI a couple days a week to let the batteries get some FLOAT time.

How does this sound ?

All comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks
George
