Front Cover Light

Is there any way to disable the light on the front cover. Even if it was disabled during the rest period it would be great. I'm on a boat and the light sucks power out I don't need as well as lighting some of my sleeping area.  Other than that I'm quite satisfied with the Classic and it's operation.  Cheers...

There are settings on MNGP  - Main Menu to Misc to LED Mode and scroll through those options to Off .  Then in same Misc menu you will see MNGP and it will let you adjust the display light if you want to do that too.

If memory serves it is under "PwrSave" in the MNGP menu and that is in the MISC menu as mentioned

Yes, it's under the MISC menu.  Pwr Save.

It's probably setup for ALWAYS on.  Just set it for like, 1 minute and then
pressing a button will turn it on and then it will fade off after a minute after
you are through pressing buttons.  There is also a 5 minute setting.
