wow, i saw that too and was thinking about posting it. no way i'd be up there even without dragging tools. of course it does not matter if it's 176ft or 1768ft as you are dead either way upon impact. may be more pieces of you to salvage at a lower height though. :o in fact at 1768ft you would have plenty of time to pray quickly, have your life flash before your eyes, kiss your butt goodbye, and die of a heart attack all before hitting the ground. ::)

Thanks for posting this, it had disappeared.

I wish I could see the tape I saw at a broadcast engineering society meeting here in Maine. It showed a couple people just sort of dancing around the top of one tower while a crane from yet another tower was installing a HDTV antenna from Dielectric.

I understand that those guys got in quite a lot of trouble for climbing that tower the way they did.

I think they missed some safety precautions, etc.
