All,

I have had Rosie installed since July 2023 and she has been working faultlessly since bar a couple of hiccups. Well I have had two of those in one week and I am now seeking to understand and hopefully resolve this infrequent issue.

Rosie just ups and shut down it ac output with no apparent reason. There is no fault code or led on, it just shuts down the output and remains in on state with zero output. I went into the user menu from on the MNGP2 to discover that the output and Rosie with both in an off state. I selected output and toggle it on and power was restored. I also selected the Rosie and toggle it to the on state. Has anyone observed this before. In the 15months she has been running I would have experienced this not more than four times but twice in the past week.

Summary of system is as follows:

1No.  Rosie 7048RE
2No.  Classic 150s
3No.  Victron 100V/20A smart mppt
3No.  15kwh CATL Lifep04 with smart jbd bms (45kwh total)
Variety of panels ranging from 130w to 285W going through 5 CC

Those are pretty old firmware versions, you may want to upgrade them to the latest available:

Be aware the updates can take while to apply after the transfer process is complete, I would wait until the fans ramp up again after the firmware update is complete and it restarts before going back into the mngp2.

Yah know as they say...if it aint broke. I hope I dont brick it as Midnite is not around the corner. I will have a go at the update this weekend and see how it goes.

Sometimes you have to do the update a few times if the canbus is being persnickety.  But only having a Rosie on the canbus should be easy peasy.

When the MNGP2 says 100% updated do NOT turn the Rosie OFF because you don't think it has not worked.   That may be one of the problems people have.
If they have another unit on the canbus, they need to (IMO)  turn those extra CC's and Rosies and stuff OFF so they don't clog the bus while updating.

Give it several minutes for the Rosie to actually re-program itself.  This might take up to 10 minutes but should be 4 to 6 minutes last I heard.

Keep us informed !

Updated rosie and mngp2 today. Update app shows both have latest firmware. Rosie is working fine. However mngp seems to be stuck on a particular status srceen. Reboot didnt change anything.
