Hi Folks,

I was just curious if anyone has seen this issue.  We have two older Classic 250's (CL00415 & CL00418) on a home-built wind system.

The first one (CL00415, 1401, 1194) is pretty much original condition.  This morning I started up the turbine, everything looked normal, but when I checked back in, I noticed that the status screen showed 'Resting' (winds just starting), but it was not tracking input or battery voltage; both showed -0-.  I also found it was unresponsive to any changes (Aux states, saves), and there was no log data.  I tried unplugging the MNGP, and back in, with no change.

I did a reboot, and all is well again, but I don't know what caused this condition.  I think it may have happened one other time, but nothing recently.

Btw, I did notice that our internet was slow, to no, for a spell last night.  It was fine a bit later and good today.  I don't know if that could be related in some way.  ~ks

That is odd, What you describe is a crashed processor on the actual Classic. Not something I have seen before. I have seen the MNGP crash but not the main processor. I guess there is a possibility that if something was clobbering the network chipset it could crash the main processor, but it seems unlikely Did all classics do this or just the one?

It was just this one.  I've seen momentary gaps, usually it will say "got comm's", but his was quite different.

We have two, they are side-by-side, with follow me enabled.  They are set up to share, or cascade, the generation off separate rectifiers.  This one starts first and takes the first ~1.5-2 kW, there's a bit of overlap but the second unit shares above that (Vin level) -

The second unit functioned normally throughout.  They both have worked normally since the restart.
